Back to the Basics

Ahhh. The Darkroom. My place of peace and sanctuary. How I’ve missed film, the simplicity of B&W and the ability to see my photos appear before my eyes. I’m so glad I’m shooting film and developing again.

The one bad thing about the darkroom is due to the lack of windows and signs of day you can completely lose yourself in there. Time seems to be of no importance and often times you forget it exists. This is all great and fabulous until you finally do look at a clock and realized you missed your classes. Unfortunately this happens to me often.

I’ve shot quite a few rolls of B&W film over the past month or two. I’ll scan in some prints once I perfect them. I don’t know why I haven’t before today.

Day Trip Celebration

In honor of my recent birthday my friends took me up to Ann Arbor, MI for a little day of fine dining and exploration. The downtown is this cute mini city with outdoor cafes, vintage stores and a Starbucks at every corner. I of course had to stop in for my favorite Soy Chai Tea Latte. Yum.

Taking Some Snaps
