Same Road, Same Rules

As I’ve said before, I’m all about biking and I’m all about fashion. What’s even better is when the two are combined. I finally got around to taking photos of my crappy bike but also the love of my life, Ruby. For those who wonder yes I do bike in five inch heels and yes it’s a little tricky but with a little grace and practice it can be mastered.

Birds Of A Feather

I recently succumbed to finally shopping at Asos.com and what a complete and utter pleasure it was. Soo many goods and all at reasonable prices. I’m usually not one to do a lot of online shopping due to my small college student budget, but today was a day for change. Once I saw this AMAZING feather cape for sale on the site I knew that I absolutely had to own it. It’s even more exquisite in person than it looked online and that’s saying a lot. I had quite a few people come up to me and ask to touch it throughout the evening.

Also I have exciting news!! Since May I’ve been in a runway competition of sorts in my city in which participants compete for prizes like being in a big local fashion show, a cash prize, a makeover and the best part – going to Miami to meet with modeling agencies and work on a portfolio. And guess who the lucky winner is…none other than yours truly!! I get to meet with all of/or a few of the following: Ford, Wilhelmina, Elite and Next. Modeling is a big dream of mine so we’ll see if dreams really do come true!
